JEFFERY DALHOUSE
Principal Massage Therapist
After completing his studies at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto, and becoming a certified RMT in Ontario, Jeffery moved to Winnipeg in 2006 to begin clinical treatment.
Receiving an Advanced Myofascial treatment from a colleague in 2010 changed the course of Jeffery's therapeutic career. Since then, he has been practising Jenings Myofascial Release, completing his Jenings Masters Series training by the end of 2012.
Since 2016, he has integrated Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) ProStym Stainless Steel Tools into his practice with outstanding results. He was privileged to offer his skills to the athletes in the 2017 Canada Summer Games hosted by Winnipeg.
Jeffery's unique treatment benefits those working with him to improve their mobility, as well as anyone frustrated by pain from rigidity, inflexibility, scar adhesions, or old wounds. He understands that life's journey can be hazardous. Over time, the body may have developed some guarded patterns of connective tissue preventing it from moving freely. Inevitably, armoured people can no longer perceive their armour, and Jeffery intends to help release soft tissue guarding.
Jeffery's treatment, in combination with your commitment to better movement and exercise, will help restore you to a better functioning version of yourself. His practise provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space.
Jeffery's clinical focus extends beyond his treatment table. Driven by his continued pursuit of understanding the complexities of connective tissue, he joined the MTAMs Research Committee in 2013. He has since attended Fascia Research conferences and promotes Massage Therapy research literacy to other RMTs in Manitoba. He proudly sits on the MTAM Board of Directors.
In his spare time, he can be found cooking in his kitchen for his family or learning about cinema, arts, culture, and craftsmanship from all over the world.
